Publication Ad

The purpose of this assignment is to create a publication ad using specifications from a real magazine. I decided to use specs from the program book for the Aspen Music Festival.

Target Audience: Aspen Music Festival audience.   

Call to Action: Buy a Pontiac G6

Specifications:

Based on their specifications a full-page ad is- Live area 7.875 x 10.375 with a 1/8 inch bleed.

A 1/3 page vertical ad has no bleed and is the following size- 2.31 x 9.75

All ads must be submitted as a High Resolution pdf and all photos must be CMYK 300dpi.

I enjoyed working on this project because of the use of actual magazine specs. My original plan was for a Christmas themed peppermint schnapps ad, but the pictures I took didn’t turn out the way I wanted, so I changed the ad concept to Like A G6…
